NEC's i-Series utilizes port-based design, single pair wiring, and a modular architecture that provides for easy expansion. The 28i has 28 ports and can provide up to 16 trunks or 20 extensions. The 124i provides a maximum of 124 ports in a 52 trunk by 72 station configuration. The 704i in a fully equiped configuration can accommodate 704 ports in a 192 trunk by 512 station configuration.
