Sonitrol: The right choice for schools.

Sonitrol's early detection and verification audio system is currently installed in over sixty percent of schools with security systems. Sonitrol's audio system can detect acts of vandalism like breaking glass. Verification technology allows trained operators to screen out false alarms, reducing expenses of custodial response to alarms.

Sonitrol's System 4000 can control up to eight independent areas. This allows the user to arm key areas like computer labs, media centers and offices while having the gym or auditorium available for use. Each area can automatically arm at a preprogrammed time if not already armed. Access control can be integrated into the system, allowing you to automatically lock and unlock controlled doors by time and date. Each user's electronic card or key is programmed to allow or deny access by user, time, and date. A full audit trail of usage is established. Software can be provided to make student badges.
